Life at JNIS & SVKM

As Head of Technology for the International Youth Conference Model UN, I led the technology behind the conference, from digital operations and event tech to coordinating technical requirements and fixing issues live while sessions were running.

Won first place in the school's Pi Day mathematics competition.

My Extended Essay asks how the angle of incidence affects the polarisation of light reflected from glass, and how accurately Brewster's angle can determine the glass's refractive index. Starting from why polarised sunglasses cut glare off glass and wet roads, I measured reflected laser intensity in both polarisation directions to locate Brewster's angle and used it to calculate the refractive index.

Performed in the school's Grand Cultural drama production.

Supported the planning, promotion and communication of school events and student-led initiatives, coordinating outreach, publicity and promotional content to raise participation.

Ran the technology for the school Annual Day two years in a row.

Achieved the highest score in the school in IGCSE Extended Mathematics.
