Tetanus Awareness Session
Port workers handle rusted metal, cargo and heavy equipment every day, which puts them at real risk of the kind of wounds that can lead to tetanus. I conducted an awareness session at a port for more than 250 people, explaining how tetanus spreads, which wounds are high-risk and when to seek medical help. I also donated one of my tetanus wound risk detection devices to the port, so workers can check an injury on the spot.
Tech Conference on AI
I conducted a technology conference at St Joseph's Convent High School on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Using practical examples and live demonstrations, I explained how these technologies are applied in the real world, so students could see them as tools they can use and build with, not just ideas they read about.
